For companies
Listing Claim & Verification Policy
Every legitimate palm company can appear on Palmigos for free. Claiming a listing is how an authorised representative takes over managing it — it is never a purchase.
Who may claim
- Owners, officers, managers and authorised employees or marketing representatives.
- You must confirm your relationship to the company as part of the claim.
- Claiming is free. Advertising is never required, offered or implied as part of verification.
Verification methods
- A business email on the company's existing website domain. Free mailboxes do not qualify.
- A call or text to the phone number already published on the listing — you cannot introduce a new number to verify with.
- Business documentation: licence, articles of organisation, insurance certificate, or a utility bill or lease showing the company name.
- Manual support verification for companies with no website, domain email or text-enabled phone.
Ownership transfers
If a listing is already claimed, a new claim is treated as a disputed ownership transfer. We notify the current representative, hold the change for a security review window, and require documentation before anything moves. Transfers are recorded in the audit log.
Documents and retention
Verification documents are stored in a private bucket, are never public, and are only opened through short-lived signed links. Every access is logged with the moderator's identity. Documents are retained for the period stated in the Privacy Policy and then purged.
Losing access
- Fraudulent claims are reversed and the account is suspended.
- Verification badges are suspended automatically when a licence or insurance record expires.
- Palmigos may re-verify a listing at any time.
