Review Policy

Reviews exist for property owners, not for advertisers. This policy explains exactly what we allow, what we remove, and what we will never do.

Who may write a review

  • You need a Palmigos account with a confirmed email address.
  • The experience must be your own and first-hand.
  • Owners, employees, competitors and paid or incentivised reviewers may not post.
  • One review per company per account. You may edit or remove your own review at any time.

What we remove

  • Content that is not a first-hand experience.
  • Conflicts of interest, including reviews written for or against a competitor.
  • Fake, purchased or otherwise compensated reviews.
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats and doxxing.
  • Private personal information such as home addresses, payment details or identity numbers.
  • Spam, advertising and irrelevant or duplicated content.

What we never remove

  • A negative but honest account of a real project.
  • A review a business dislikes, disputes commercially, or asks us to take down as a customer courtesy.
  • A review because the company advertises, buys leads or funds a wallet.

How ratings are calculated

Ratings are computed on our servers from published reviews only, never in your browser. Reviews that our automated checks cannot corroborate are marked Not currently recommended: they remain publicly readable but are excluded from the score. Verified Palmigos project reviews carry an evidence badge because we can tie them to a request or purchased lead in our own records.

Business responses

A claimed company may publish one public response per review. Responses cannot edit, hide, reorder or delete a review, and they cannot change a rating. Responses containing customer contact details, payment data or threats are blocked.

Reporting and appeals

Anyone signed in can report a review. Reporting never hides it. A human moderator decides against this policy, records a written reason, and notifies the parties. Reviewers and businesses can appeal a moderation decision once through the appeals process.

Advertising firewall

Lead purchases, sponsorship and wallet balance have no effect on review moderation, rating calculation or organic ranking. Moderators do not see spend when deciding a case, and every decision is written to an immutable audit log.
